SecGuru Traffic Stats

SecGuru is a social bookmarking and blogging site primarily focused on Internet Security. Our users submit stories, links to security related articles and other users decide by their voting power what gets to the front page.

SecGuru is growing rapidly through word of mouth and already has 500+ users. We receive around 1500+ page views every day from around 800+ unique visitors.

Most of our viewers are working in the field of penetration testing and internet securities, and based in USA.

We are currently receiving 70% of our traffic from search engines (primarily Google) and 15% from direct users.

In January 2007 we moved our full text RSS feeds to feedburner and the number of users reading our feed has been growing ever since. Currently we have 600+ RSS readers.

Secguru has been specifically designed to not to obstruct users from reading content and therefore we show very few advertisements as compared to other sites on the web. We dont make a lot of money from this site, but then thats not our primary goal either :)
