Windows 98 Support for MP3 Player
Perhaps there might be a way to go around this problem u are facing to support the MP3,but it is gona be a very temporary solution. Remember Microsoft no longer support Windows 98 and its component programs and applications. That means everything Win 98 will become increasingly non compatible with any later versions of Windows 2000,2003,XP,Vista including even the now outfashioned Win NT 4.0.The more you delay upgrading to a newer Windows OS version, the harder it will be 4 you to run programs like the MP3 Player.I admired Windows 98 and used it dedicatedly for the last 10 years but looking around me I realized I was becoming increasingly the odd guy.So I upgraded to Windows 2000 and from there, perhaps in the next couple of years I shall upgrade to either Windows XP or Vista depending upon the contents of my wallet. So go for it pardner and join the NOW generation.

Try the following websites and see if any helps downloading MP3 using Windows 98:
a) http://www.download.com/3150-2166_4-1-4.html?
b) http://www.download.com/sort/3150-2166_4-0-1-4.html? The first option will include all OSs or operating systems. The second option filter to specifically Windows 98 capabilities.Best of luck.
