Terminator for Programmers with Gnome

is an attempt to maximise useful space on a given desktop for terminals. I’m a sysadmin by trade, so I live in ssh sessions and thus terminals. An extra line here and there over all those hours seems like it’s worth trying for.

This is a pretty simple python script which places multiple vte widgets in a window. That’s the same widget used by gnome-terminal. At the moment I haven’t cloned all gnome-terminal behaviours, so there are unexpected and bugful behaviours, but these are slowly being addressed.
